Discover how my Weekly Cat Planner Gets Cozy: Persian Cats in the Cottage Kitchen

Every single week it happens again: I finish a new page of my weekly cat planner, print it out, and fall in love all over again. The result simply looks wonderful. I’m so excited about this project that I wish it were already finished so I could start using it right now!

Fluffy Bakers in a Vintage Kitchen

This time, the stars are two fluffy Persian cats in an old-fashioned cottage kitchen. Flour is dusting the wooden table, a rolling pin and wooden spoons are close at hand, and blue-and-white ceramics line the shelves. A basket of freshly baked bread waits in the corner, while snow falls outside the window.

The cats look as if they are about to help with the baking, or at least supervise it very carefully. 🐾

Why These Pages Make Me So Happy

Every new week brings a new scene and a new cat. That is what makes designing this planner so special for me. I never know exactly how the next page will turn out until I see it printed. Here is what I love most about this week:

  • The warm, cozy colors. Honey browns, golden light, and creamy tones make the pages feel like a winter afternoon in the kitchen.
  • The vintage details. Aged paper, ornate frames, and old-fashioned lettering give every page that nostalgic look.
  • The Persian cats themselves. Their fluffy coats and sweet faces are a joy to look at.

Room to Write: The Real Challenge

A planner should be beautiful, but it also has to be useful. The biggest challenge in designing it is not to overload the pages. I want you to enjoy the illustrations while still having plenty of space for your appointments, to-dos, and notes.

That is why each day has its own generous, lined panel, and there is a notes section plus a mini monthly calendar on every spread.

The Summer Weeks Are Coming

Now I am slowly getting to the summer weeks in my design process, and I am looking forward to them so much! After all these cozy winter scenes, I can’t wait to bring sunshine, flowers, and fresh colors into the planner. I will show you the first summer pages as soon as they are ready.

What Comes Next?

The planner will start as a printable, so you can print the pages at home and put them in your own binder. Later, a digital version will follow as well. Until then, I will keep sharing a new sneak peek every week.

If you would like to see how it all began, take a look at my first post about the printable cat planner and my update on the vintage cat planner.

Which season or cat breed would you love to see next? Let me know in the comments. 🐱
